I suppose it`s nice to see CBC management recycle thier offer to the CMG...
At least that`s not contributing to global warming or polar cap ice melts...
Though all the hot air between Toronto and Ottawa might be breaking Canada`s committment to the Kyoto Protocol...i`m not quite sure...but,it has to be close.
You`d think that losing the Genies to Global would be embarassing enough.
Or not airing the Gillers either...
Hmm...maybe it`s too many lattes with Dingwall at the Winnpeg Starbucks that has affected thier thought process at Mother Corp.
Let`s hope they don`t rerun ``Titanic`` or ``The Posidion Adventure`` any time soon...

CBC lockout week 8

I was watching Newsworld last night...just to see how they`re doing the House sans CMG help.
Am i the only one thinking they probably just taped the thing off CPAC and reran the tape?.
They said today they run Question Period live...hmm...want to bet CPAC asks for a cease and desist befor long?.
Turns out some bloggers have been harassed off line...hmm...i can`t imagine that the ISP`s involved or the bloggers themselves haven`t yet contacted the RCMP yet.
Not like there isn`t a good case for a lawsuit or two here...criminal charges anyone?.
Yep...sometimes the brain trust running a place can amaze you...
Think they get advice from Dr. Mailloux by any chance?...

You get the distinct feeling that the CBC board just doesn`t get it....
You see the public wants the CBC BACK ON THE AIR!.

Turns out some Bloggers are being attacked and hacked for thier comments....
Not like there`s anything illegal about that or anything.
Turns out some were duped or almost duped into working that Terry Fox Special thinking it was for CTV....
The fact that ABC in Australia did a piece on the lockout says something about the reach and scope of this mess...yep,this was one smart move,guys and gals....one smart move.

You get the feeling that Rabinovich,Stursburg and Company just are so missing the point here.
Okay...so you move your meetings from Yellowknife to somewhere in Montreal...
Okay...so cancelled rooms in Yellowknife...cancelled plane tickets...rebooked tickets...
Booking new hotel rooms in Montreal,canceling rent a cars in Yellowknife,rerenting new cars in Montreal...hmmm?.
This is all supposed to be about SAVING MONEY,right?...

Watching the Terry Fox special with Jody Vance and Juliette Powell...
The last time i saw people that uncomfortable on television was when anyone sat in the hot seat on `This Hour has 7 Days` or Pierre Burton making potato pancakes on « 90 Minutes Live» and Gwozki had to cut to commerical.

B.C. Game Not Televised

Uh...if B.C. Lions owner David Brailey wasn`t spitting venom before...now,he`s as onrey as a West Coast Bear who hasn`t ate in days,now that TSN can`t cover the game and the union workers at BC Place among others are respecting the CMG over the CBC lockout.
You get the feeling that if Tom Wright didn`t have a problem before now...trust me here...no amount of Advil,Asprin,Tylenol or Excedrin you ingest,Tom...will cure this headache...just throw up your hands...walk away from the rest of the contract,you have with the league...just find a nice secluded island where no one can reach you or find you...then when the storm has passed by you...just say `I wash my hands of this...this is not my problem anymore` and just find a less stressful job like air traffic controller in Baghdad or somewhere like that.

You know...the Titanic was a better run ship even when it was skining into the waters off Newfoundland than Mother Corp. at the moment and if the B.C. Lions game can`t be shown at all...Tom Wright may as well just resign now and walk away from the mess that Brailey is more than liekly to make...trust me here...Brailey is calling in the lawyers and talking less about options as he`s probably talking dollar figures with the lawyers...just my guess...though huh?.
